even with some crazy looking shielding gas distribution devices and full back purges that will suck a 250cu cylinder dry in an hour its still hard. I've talked to one guy that does it every now and then and he says dont even try it until you've got a number of years experience w/ other metals.most Ti parts like i said are welded in chambers that are filled w/ inert gas so that there is no worry of contamination. There is a whole section in this one welding book i have on how to set one up but there is a lot involved. but Ti is so expensive i'll probably never be working with it :p mild steel pipe and stainless tubing for manifolds and i'm good
